British writer and comedian Sara Pascoe has joined forces with Faber & Faber to publish Animal: How a Woman is Made.

The book, released spring 2016, will combine autobiography and evolutionary history to look at 'how the female body has been discussed, fetishised and misunderstood throughout history'. Pascoe won the 2014 Chortle Award for best breakthrough act, and has been seen on shows such as Live at the Apollo, QI and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
